Our History

  • 2003 - 2004

    Investigo is founded

    ​Investigo is founded by Scott Beckson and Simon Smith and specialises in accountancy and finance. 7 in headcount by year end.

  • 2005 - 2006

    ​Guildford office opens, and business change and transformation division launches.

    ​Guildford office opens, and business change and transformation division launches. Team grew from 20 to 26.

  • 2007-09

    ​Strategy team launches and St Albans office opens.

    ​Investigo reaches 59 employees.

  • 2010-12

    Gary Watson becomes CEO; Milton Keynes office opens; property and facilities, and procurement launch. Team grows from 59 to 136.

  • 2013 – 2016

    Investigo team grows steadily from 136 to 166 people.

  • 2017

    Nick Baxter becomes CEO. Cloud, data, and cybersecurity launch.

  • 2018

    Investigo Executive (now InX) launches; Investigo opens US office in New York.

    ​Headcount grows to 190.

  • 2019

    Investigo Consulting (now Definia) launches; Investigo acquires Caraffi.

    ​Company grows to 227 people.

  • 2020

    Investigo expands operations into Europe; tax and manufacturing teams launched.

    ​271 in headcount.

  • 2021

    Philadelphia and San Diego offices open in the US and the UK’s Midlands offices open.

    ​284 people work across Investigo, InX, and Definia.

  • 2022

    A huge leap as we grow from 284 to 332 people.

  • 2023

    Partnership with Sigma Labs

    BioTalent expands following acquisition by The IN Group
