Due to continued growth within The IN Group, we have an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Director or Client facing Director within the staffing industry (ideally technology focused) to join one of our consulting brands as a Business Development Director. As a Business Development Director you will be responsible lead generation and winning new business as well as team management and account management. This role will sit within one of our consulting brands an opportunity for an experienced senior level individual to be a part of the growth and expansion our group.

The brand within The IN Group, that this role sits within provides clients with high-performing software, data & cloud consultants as a scalable short term resource and a long term talent pipeline. Experience needed:

This is a role for an experienced technology recruitment leader or sales leader within the talent consulting space who would like to elevate their career in a growing brand within a global and successful group.

You will have experience in:

  • Management

    – you will have at least five years or more of experience in managing and leading successful sales teams within the technology talent, consulting or recruitment agency sector. You will have a track record of delivering high-performance results and as well as training and developing sales professionals and account execs.

  • Sales Strategies -

    you will be working closely with the leadership team as the company scales. This means you’ll be responsible for; mentoring team members, contributing to strategic decision making, and taking ownership for process excellence.

  • Solutions selling -You will have previous experience of solution-selling: identifying problem areas and shaping strategic solutions to technical and business leaders, including gaining consensus for these solutions across a broad stakeholder community. Your background will be working with technical leaders to understand their strategy & upcoming requirements, ideally within the human capital or professional services sectors.

  • Account Development:

    Ideally you will have experience of delivering account growth and account management of enterprise accounts (10k+ employees) within the HTD (Hire, Train, Deploy) Sector.

The role:

This is a client facing, business development role where you will be managing a small team with the scope to grow this team in future. This is a hands on role so will be suitable for someone who has been in a client facing sales position:

  • Team Management: responsible for training and developing a team of 3 Account Executives, and scaling that team over time. You will be accountable for the success of your team.

  • Sales: you will be responsible for lead generation through networking, referrals and outbound sales as well as managing large enterprise accounts, growing a book of repeat business. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process; Research and market mapping, identifying customers experience the challenges our solution solves, educating target customers on our proposition and approach, and consulting internal and external stakeholders to ensure an effective solution.

  • Account management: you will be accountable for maintaining a consistent pipeline of repeat business, specifically targeted at developing the accounts you work with.
